A glare, that’s all he seemed to warrant now. John looked sideways longingly at his friend with his new toy. That had been him. But Bobby was Mr.Nice Guy wanted to help and who needed him more than Rogue. He’d said as much too. He thought that John didn’t need him anymore, and Bobby needed to be needed.
He was spinning out of control. Bobby had been his guide, his stabiliser, lover and Dom. He’d kept him in line and now he was on his own. Magneto’s offer dangled in front of him, attractive, dangerous. With no guide…he took it.
